5. Maintain and update
Include information in the style guide about how to reach the project lead (or team) with questions or comments
Maintain a running list of revised or new style decisions by the forum or editing staff
Signs that you need a revision:
- A number of style decisions have been made since the guide was last published
- Feedback is received about missing information
- New projects requiring different style decisions arise
- Changes to the way you develop or produce publications
